Abstract:
A rubber composition, which allows unexpectedly improved efflorescence performance without deteriorated ozone resistance performance, is based on at least an elastomer matrix; a reinforcing filler, an anti-ozone wax, and a crumb rubber; wherein the elastomer matrix comprises an isoprene elastomer and a butadiene elastomer; wherein the total amount of the isoprene elastomer is more than 35 phr and less than 65 phr; wherein the total amount of the butadiene elastomer is more than 35 phr and less than 65 phr; wherein the total amount of the reinforcing filler is more than 10 phr and less than 50 phr; wherein the total amount of the anti-ozone wax is more than 1 phr and less than 3 phr; and wherein the total amount of the crumb rubber is more than 5 phr and less than 20 phr.
