Abstract:
This invention provides a rubber-steel cord composite that can show nonlinear physical properties even in rubber characterized by imcompression after vulcanization and thus shows low rigidity and flexible properties in a low-strain region, but on the other hand, can show high rigidity in a high-strain region. The rubber-steel cord composite comprises steel cords, provided by bundling a plurality of steel filaments (1), which have been subjected to spiral shape forming at substantially identical pitches, without twisting in a substantially identical phase, the steel cords having been embedded in rubber.
