Description:
RUCKSACK FOR SPORTS ACTIVITIES This invention is in general a back pack, mainly to be used in sports activities. The purpose of the invention is, in a new and inventive way, to store the various equipment used for sports. lt is primarily for the use of children and youngsters.

The theme of the invention is that it should be carried as a back pack, which is important from a traffic safett point of view, as many accidents occur when youths and children go to training, and matches by bicycle, but it is also intended to be an easily accessible and practical mean of storage for sports equipment.

When doing outdoor sports, the shoes often get very dirty, which means they should not be stored with other items in a back pack. Another problem is the storage of sticks, mainly for hockey and indoors bandy while travelling with a bicycle back and forth from sports.

Normally the stick is held in one hand when cycling, which means the stick can interfere with legs or wheels and thereby cause an accident.

One practical detail is the pocket on one of the carrying straps for storage of, for example, the key to the bicycle, which means that you can avoid lifting the back pack off, just to store the key safely, as the pocket is accessible when the back pack is carried.

Another detail is the disc shaped part that, when the inner spaces of the back pack is empy, is along the side of the container. When moist objects are to be carried separately from other objects in the back pack, they are placed underneath the disc, which covers the moist object.

One primary aspect of the invention is that the back pack has two openings with lids. The first is in the upper part and gives access to the inside. The second opening is situated on the front of the back pack, that gives access to one or more flexible inner bags inside, mainly for the storage of sports shoes. That means that the storage space for shoes is very accessible, as well as separated from other objects. The inner bags, they are designed to be pulled out for easy access and cleaning. The inner bags should be made in a flexible and water tight material like woven plastic.

Another feature of the invention is that the back pack is designed with a pocket in the lower part on one side, and a flexible fastener on the upper part in order to carry a long object. Thugs. a stick or a jacquet can be carried by sticking it through the flexible fastener into the pocket, where it is safely held, thus eliminating a possible cause for accidents. Also, as the stick/racquet is carried in this way, it also serves as an extra warning sign to other trafic, by making the wearer more visible.

Another feature of the invention is that the back pack can have an external storage, including a flexible net bag. When that is used, the net is pulled out and used to carry a ball or a cycling helmet or something similar. That gives a safe way to store, for instance, a ball, instead of holding it in one hand when travelling on a bicycle. Cafter the trip, it can store the helmet, instead of the usual way ouf oust leaving it on the ground or hanging from the bicycle.

Furthermore, the back pack is designed so that the internal space has a disc shaped partition situated in the upper part of the second opening. This lid can be partially or wholly used when sporting shoes and/or wet objects like towels areplaced within, or in the flexible inner bags, as a separate storage space.

Another practical detail is one separate storage space for various forms or notes. Normally, when paper is placed in a back pack, it gets wrinkled due to lack of suitable flat storage. That is why the paper storage is placed on the flat back surface, that is slightly reinforced. This pocket is either made of a clear or net like material, so that messages are visible.

This back pack can also include other usual features, such as storage spaces for drink bottles etc.

The invention is described more closely, with diagrams included.

Fig. I shows the front view of the back pack with the lid (14) for the first opening (3) and lid (15) for the second opening (4) and a sketched marking of the second opening (4). The first opening (3) gives access to the inside storage space (2). The second opening (4) gives access to a separate inside space (6) consisting of one or more flexible inner bags (5), intended for shoes (22).

On one side of the back pack there is a compartment (19) intended for a drinks bottle (20) and sitting underlay (21). On the other side of the back pack, there is a pocket (8) and a fastener (I l) for a long object (9) like a hockey stick or a racquet.

On the lid (14) there is a sealable compartment (12) containing a second flexible bag (13).

This bag (13) can be pulled out of the lid/12) so that the bag (13), except for the part that is permanently fixed inside the compdrtment (12), can be pulled out. A ball or a helmet or similar object can then be placed in this bag.

Fig. 2 shows the back pack in an exposed side view with a flexible bag (5) containing a shoe (22). In the inside space (2), there is a foldable disc (7), attache on top of the second opening (4). This disc (7) compartmentalises the inner space (2) when folded out so that objects underneath the disc are separated from the other objects above the disc.

Fig. 3 shows a rear view of the back pack with carrying straps (16). On one of the straps (16) there is a sealable pocket (17) for smalt objects like keys. On the flat back plane (I) there is a pocket for documents (18) made in a clear or netlike material.
