Title:
RUGBY LEGGINGS
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2023/085394
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
[Problem] To increase grip during a line-out in a rugby match without causing discomfort to the wearer. [Solution] In rugby leggings 10 worn underneath shorts, each surface of leg portions 14L, 14R, which cover the thigh portions above the knees of the wearer, is provided with a high-friction area 16 having a higher friction coefficient than other portions. A lifter can place their hands on the portions of the high-friction areas 16 to assist a jumper and can increase their grip during a line-out. Since the high-friction areas 16 are provided on the innerwear leggings, which many rugby players commonly wear for practice and games, there is no concern about causing discomfort to the wearer.
