Abstract:
This run-flat tire is provided with: a pair of bead cores in which the cross-section is drop shaped; a carcass in which a main body part and a fold-back part overlap from the bead core towards the outside in the tire radial direction; a side reinforcing layer which is provided inside of the carcass in the tire width direction; and a rim guard which is provided on the outside surface of the tire and which limits collapse of the bead part to outside in the tire axial direction. (t/G) between a reference line and the point of intersection (0.07 SHp) is set within the range 40-80%, (t/G) between the point of intersection (0.07 SHp) and the point of intersection (0.44 SHp) is set within the range 55-95%, and the position of the apex of the rim guard is set within the range of 10-20% of the side height from the reference line.
