Abstract:

In order to balance run-flat durability and ride-comfort performance, a run-flat tire 1 comprises a side reinforced rubber layer 10, a first bead filler 51 disposed on the tire-width-direction inner side of a turnup section 6b of the carcass 6, and a second bead filler 52 disposed on the tire-width-direction outer side of the turnup section 6b, the first bead filler height HBFL being 30% or less of the tire cross-sectional height SH, the second bead filler height H2FL being 50% or more of the tire cross-sectional height SH, the cross-sectional area S2FL of the second bead filler 52 being within the range of 150-400% of the cross-sectional area SBFL of the first bead filler 51, and the relationship among: the total SALL of the cross-sectional areas of the side reinforced rubber layer 10, the first bead filler 51, and the second bead filler 52; the tire cross-sectional height SH; and the load index LI satisfying the expression (0.16 × SH × L1 – 1100) ≤ SALL ≤ (0.16 × SH × L1 – 800).
