Abstract:
The present application discloses a run-flat tire, comprising a wheel hub and an outer tire mounted on the wheel hub. An inner tube is mounted in the outer tire, and the inner tube is composed of a plurality of honeycomb airbags. The honeycomb airbags are made of elastic rubber, and any honeycomb airbag is connected to a branch air pipe used for inflating the honeycomb airbag. The branch air pipes communicate with a main air pipe, and a free end of the main air pipe is tightly connected to an air nozzle mounted on the wheel hub. Check valves which prevent gas from escaping are further provided on the branch air pipes or in the honeycomb airbags. In the present utility model, the inner tube is redesigned on the basis of existing ordinary tires in combination with the form of traditional tires, the original single inner tube is arranged as a multi-honeycomb airbag structure, and the principle that adjacent honeycomb airbags are able to achieve self-adaptive filling is used, so that damage to and air leakage of a portion of the honeycomb airbags will not cause the entire tire to leak air or blowout. Also, the inner tube may be compatible with the tires of existing bicycles, battery-powered vehicles, and automobiles, and has low maintenance costs, is highly safe, and has strong practicability and popularization.
