Abstract:
In this running style analysis device, a step frequency acquisition unit 74 acquires, regarding the running of a subject, the slope of a step frequency change with respect to a running speed change. A step length acquisition unit 75 acquires, regarding the running of the subject, the slope of a step length change with respect to a running speed change. A determination unit 80 calculates a principal component score from the slope of the step frequency change and the slope of the step length change of the subject on the basis of a principal component analysis model, which is generated in advance on the basis of measured values of a plurality of runners, and determines which of a plurality of running styles including a long-stride style and a short-stride style the running of the subject corresponds to, on the basis of the calculated principal component score.
