Abstract:
The present utility model relates to the technical field of battery explosion prevention and discloses a rupture panel of a battery. The rupture panel comprises a panel body. Closed concentric circular grooves are formed on the panel body and a flipping member is located in a region enclosed by the closed concentric circular grooves on the panel body. Open-ended circular scores are disposed within the closed concentric circular grooves. The open-ended circular scores encircle the concentric circular grooves along an encircling direction thereof. A portion enclosed by the closed concentric circular grooves located between two ends of the open-ended circular scores forms a connection segment for flipping of the flipping member. Providing the closed concentric circular grooves on the panel body and disposing the open-ended circular scores within the closed concentric circular grooves, strengthens the rigidity of the rupture panel. The rupture panel is not easily deformed if an internal pressure has not reached a critical point, preventing a change to the internal pressure of a lithium battery. If the pressure reaches the preset critical point, the rupture panel ruptures along the open-ended circular scores, such that the flipping member flips around the connection segment. At this time, a hole is formed in the original position of the flipping member, and gas built up inside of the lithium battery is discharged through the hole in a timely manner, so as to avoid a lithium battery explosion.
