Abstract:

Rust prevention of steel materials contained in concrete or mortar comprises incorporating in the concrete or mortar nitrites, compounds represented by the general formula NH(R).CH2.COOH, wherein R is H or an alkyl group of one to four carbon, or salts thereof, and hydrated hydrazine. Sea sand may be used effectively as an aggregate.
