Abstract:
A rust preventive coating composition which contains a binder (A) that contains silica nanoparticles, at least one zinc-based powder (B) that is selected from among a zinc powder and a zinc alloy powder, an aluminum phosphate compound (C), a conductive pigment (D) and water, and which is configured such that the mass ratio of the zinc-based powder (B) to the total of the aluminum phosphate compound (C) and the conductive pigment (D), namely (B)/((C) + (D)) is from 0.1 to 7.0.
