Abstract:

A rust proofing method for cylindrical members according to the present invention is a method of rust prevention treatment for a cylindrical member, and comprises: a first end section forming step for forming, on one end of the cylindrical member, a first end section for sealing the one end; a rust proofing material insertion step for inserting, into the cylindrical member, a rust proofing material which has a scatter suppression material, a vaporizable rust proofing agent covered with the scatter suppression material, and a holding sheet for holding the vaporizable rust proofing agent; a second end section forming step for forming, on an end section on a side opposite to the first end section of the cylindrical member, a second end section for sealing the end section, after accommodating the rust proofing material in the cylindrical member; and a rust proofing agent vaporization step for vaporizing the vaporizable rust proofing agent.
