Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an absorbing liquid which is convenient, can be applied to any processing conditions, and can increase the sensitivity of ruthenium oxide quantification. [Solution] This ruthenium oxide gas absorbing liquid is characterized by containing an organic alkaline solution which includes a ligand and/or an onium salt composed of onium ions and anions, at least some of which are hydroxide ions, wherein the concentration of the hydroxide ions falls within the range of 1×10-7 mol/L to 6 mol/L (exclusive of 1×10-7).
