Abstract:
The saddle piece (1) is made of a resilient material with a high coefficient of friction, that takes the shape of the volume containing it when compressed, and has structure that is suitable to be mounted on a reinforced place on the upper part of the device, on the upper framing part (8) or on the upper bending of the lateral wall or on a suitable place on top of the case from by means of a catch (2) or screwing or adhering. The saddle piece (1) can also be fastened by adhering it to the under side of the kitchen worktop so that it is positioned on a reinforced portion of the device.

Claims:
CLAIMS
1. A saddle piece (1) with a serrated surface in contact with the kitchen worktop (4) for the purpose of increasing the contact surface area, which has a hollow flexible structure to facilitate its fitting into the saddle piece socket (5) and has catches (2) suitable for the saddle piece socket (5) formed on the upper framing part, situated on the lateral sides and top of the machine that connect the side frames of the machine.

A saddle piece (1) according to Claim 1, characterized in that it is inserted in or fixed by screwing or adhering to the saddle piece socket (5) so that the catches (2) remain at the bottom side, before the electrical domestic appliance is installed in its place and then, that the electrical domestic appliance is placed under the workbench and the serrated upper surface (3) of the saddle piece (1) remaining between the lower surface of the kitchen worktop (4) and the machine is compressed by raising the machine using the height adjustment mechanism at the front and rear feet of the machine, and that the domestic appliance is fixed underneath the kitchen worktop without using any screws, while the vibration generated during the portion of the electrical domestic appliance and which is transmitted to the kitchen worktop (4) is minimised.
3. A saddle piece (1) according to Claim 1, characterized in that it is made of a resilient material with a high coefficient of friction and that it has a structure suitable to be fastened by screwing and that it is fixed under the bench by making the height adjustment of the screw.
4. A saddle piece (1) according to Claim 1, characterized in that it is made of a resilient material with a high coefficient of friction and that it has a structure suitable to be fastened by adhering.
5. A saddle piece (1) according to Claim 1, characterized in that more than one saddle pieces (1) can be fastened on the upper framing part (8) that can be placed on the sides and on top of the machine.
Description:
SADDLE PIECE The present invention is related to simple and easy installation of electrical domestic appliances under a kitchen worktop.

The flush mounting of the electrical domestic appliances under a kitchen worktop is realised by securing the lateral wall or upper framing part of the appliance to the kitchen worktop by means of screws. In case kitchen worktop is of marble, the fixation process has to be made from the sides, which causes difficulties during mounting. Furthermore, during the mounting, the kitchen worktop can be damaged by the screws and screwdrivers; the fixation can be weakened due to frequent mounting/dismounting processes for service and require extra workmanship cost.

The object of the present invention is to realize the flush mounting of the electrical domestic appliances under a kitchen worktop without using screws and without requiring any extra workmanship.

The saddle piece realized in order to achieve the above mentioned object of the present invention is illustrated in the drawings, wherein: Figure 1, is the three dimensional view of the saddle piece.

Figure 2, is the side view of the saddle piece.

Figure 3, is the view of the saddle piece adhered to the upper framing part.

Figure 4, is the view of the saddle piece fastened to the upper framing part from the top.

Figure 5, is the view of the screw-shaped saddle piece fastened to the upper framing part from the top.

The components shown in the drawings are as follows:

(1) Saddle piece (2) Catch (3) Serrated surface (4) Kitchen worktop (5) Saddle piece socket (recess) (6) Screw (7) Screw hole (8) Upper framing part (9) Screw head The saddle piece (1) is made of a resilient material of a high coefficient of friction, that takes the shape of the volume containing it when compressed, and has a structure that is suitable to be mounted on a reinforced place on the upper part of the device, on the upper framing part (8) or on the upper bending of the lateral wall or on a suitable place on top of the case from by means of a catch (2) or screwing or binding (adhering).

A preferred embodiment of the saddle piece (1) has a hollow flexible structure to facilitate the fitting of the saddle piece into its socket, by means of its catches (2) suitable for the saddle piece socket (5) formed on the upper framing part (8) and on the lateral sides of the machine. The serrated surface (3) to contact with the kitchen worktop is serrated in order to increase the contact surface and to facilitate its dismounting from the place where it has been adhered to.

In another embodiment of the saddle piece (1), a screw-shaped saddle piece (6) made of a resilient material with a high coefficient of friction, that can be fastened by screwing or by inserting into the screw hole (7) formed on the upper framing part (8), has been formed (Fig. 5).

The saddle piece (1) can also be fastened by adhering it to the under side of the workbench so that it is positioned on a reinforced portion of the device. In

this case the region to be adhered to the workbench has been defined in such a manner that the maintenance/service personnel can easily find.

The saddle piece (1) is inserted or fixed by screwing or adhering into the saddle piece socket (5) so that the catches (2) remain at the bottom side, before the electrical domestic appliance is installed in its place. Then, the electrical domestic appliance is placed under the workbench and the serrated upper surface (3) of the saddle piece (1) remaining between the lower surface of the kitchen worktop (4) and the machine is compressed raising the machine using the height adjustment mechanism at the front and rear feet of the machine, thus the domestic appliance is fixed underneath the kitchen worktop without using any screws, while the vibration generated during the portion of the electrical domestic appliance and which is transmitted to the kitchen worktop (4) is minimised.

When the electrical domestic appliance is required to be taken off its place it is sufficient to bring down the machine by means of the height adjustment mechanism existing on the front and rear feet of the machine.

In this way, the electrical domestic appliance (4) can easily be mounted or dismounted without requiring any workmanship, and without using any screws and similar fastening elements, under the kitchen worktop (4) or between the kitchen elements, without causing any damage on the structure on which it is fastened. The same way of fastening applies for the dishwashing machines, refrigerators, ovens and washing machines.
