Abstract:
This saddle-ride type vehicle (11) comprises: a fuel tank (44) that is supported by a vehicle body frame (12) and has a filler opening (44a); a vehicle body cover (13) that at least partially covers the fuel tank and that defines an opening (47) in a position opposite the filler opening; a lid (48) that opens and closes the opening; a fuel cap (55) that is provided separately from the lid and closes the filler opening; a support body (57b) that spreads outward in one direction away from the outer edge of the filler opening; and a hinge arm (63) that is connected to the inner surface of the lid and is swingably supported by the support body about a rotation axis (62). The fuel cap is supported by the support body so as to be able to swing about an axis (56) between an open position that opens the filler opening and a closed position that closes the filler opening. The present invention thereby provides a saddle-ride type vehicle that can further improve handling during fueling.
