Abstract:
Provided is a saddle-ride type vehicle in which an airbag can be deployed while interference with the steering wheel is minimized. This saddle-ride type vehicle includes a retainer 41 provided to the rear of a head pipe 15, an inflator 43, and an airbag 42 that is stored in the retainer 41 and that expands and deploys in front of the rider due to a gas G released by the inflator 43, wherein the retainer 41 is positioned underneath a handle 11e, the airbag 42 is formed into a bag from a structure combining a front surface 123 and a rear surface 124, and a joining section 131 of the front surface 123 and the rear surface 124 is provided with a panel 125 that forms a peripheral length difference between the front surface 123 and the rear surface 124 in side view.
