A saddle riding type vehicle (1) equipped with a tail-side cover (50) provided to the outside on the left and right sides of a rear seat (41b), wherein: the tail-side cover (50) is equipped with a cover upper-surface section (101) that projects to the outside on the left and right sides of the rear seat (41b), and a cover lower-surface section (102) onto which it is possible to hook a finger of a hand placed on the cover upper-surface section (101); and the cover lower-surface section (102) is provided with a concavity (103) to be hooked by a finger.
