Abstract:
The present invention provides a saddle riding type vehicle characterized by being provided with: a lighting device; and an operating means for performing a driving operation of a direction indicator, wherein the lighting device is configured to irradiate a portion of the road surface from the front to the side of the saddle riding type vehicle in response to an input, to the operating means, of an operation indicating the intent of a driver of the saddle riding type vehicle to change the path of the vehicle. Thus, the intent to change the path of the own vehicle in the relatively near future is appropriately communicated to others, and the driving burden of a rider is reduced.
