Abstract:
A saddle type vehicle includes a scavenging pump (121) that is fixed to a crankcase (29) and recovers oil in a crank chamber (41), and a link boss (167) that is formed in the crankcase (29), rotatably supports a shaft body (166) around an oscillating axis line (Sx) parallel to a rotation axis line of a rear wheel, and couples the crankcase (29) to a vehicle body frame. The scavenging pump (121) is provided between the link boss (167) and a crankshaft (42) when viewed from a side of the vehicle. Accordingly, a saddle type vehicle capable of reducing the displacement of the scavenging pump when a unit swing-type power unit swings is provided.
