Abstract:
Provided is a saddle-type vehicle provided with a turbocharger and an engine having a plurality of combustion chambers, wherein the response characteristics of the engine to operation of an accelerator manipulator can be improved. An air intake passage includes a downstream-side air intake passage. The downstream-side air intake passage is disposed downstream, with respect to the direction in which intake air flows through the air intake passage, of the position where a throttle valve is disposed. The downstream-side air intake passage includes a plurality of branch air intake passages and a single common air intake passage. The plurality of branch air intake passages are disposed so as to correspond one-to-one to the plurality of combustion chambers. The single common air intake passage is connected to the upstream ends, with respect to the direction in which the intake air flows through the air intake passage, of the plurality of branch air intake passages. The volume of the common air intake passage is smaller than the total of the volume of the plurality of branch air intake passages.
