Abstract:
This saddled electric vehicle is provided with: a drive wheel; an electric motor for driving the drive wheel; a battery for storing power to be supplied to the electric motor; a charging inlet electrically connected to the battery; a portion to be engaged that is provided outside an insertion hole of the charging inlet, and that, when a feeding plug is inserted into the insertion hole, engages with a latch portion provided on the feeding plug, wherein the latch portion moves, in accordance with the operation of a manipulator provided on the feeding plug, between an engagement position where the latch portion engages with the portion to be engaged and a disengagement position which is separated from the engagement position toward the outside in the radial direction of the insertion hole and where the engagement is released; and a locking mechanism having a lock portion capable of moving, in accordance with the operation of a key, between a restriction position where the latch portion engaged with the portion to be engaged at the engagement position is restricted from moving to the outside in the radial direction and a release position where the restriction is released.
