Abstract:
The present invention relates to a safe fishway. The safe fishway includes: an intake/exhaust valve disposed at the upper portion of a barrage or levee to indirectly adjust the internal water level by regulating the air, which has a relatively low specific gravity, in between the air and water having mutually exclusive properties and which occupy an already established fishway inner space together under the same pressure; a horizontal tube having light-transmitting windows on both sides thereof with respect to the center of the intake/exhaust valve; an inclined tube extending downward along the outer surface of the barrage or levee from both ends of the horizontal tube to communicate with the horizontal tube; an extension tube horizontally extending from one end of the inclined tube to communicate with the inclined tube; an entrance tube through which water in a river or watercourse is discharged or introduced, wherein the entrance tube extends upward from one end of the extension tube to communicate with the extension tube; and a cover having one side surface with a fitting groove in which the extension tube is fitted and the other side surface with a cut groove through which the water within the river or watercourse flows in and out. Thus, when the velocity of the water is high as a result of flooding, the flow of the internal water may be stopped, reduced, and relieved to safely move and shelter fish. Also, the water may be continuously discharged through the bottom to improve the quality of deep water.
