Abstract:
Disclosed is a safe mechanism integrating acceleration control and a brake pedal for a motor vehicle. The mechanism functions to accelerate the vehicle when moved laterally in a transverse direction, and functions to brake the vehicle when stepped on downwards. The right foot of the driver is always on the brake pedal and can directly step on the brake pedal pushing it downwards at any time, and an acceleration actuator can be cut off automatically without changing the position of the right foot, so as to ensure a timely and accurate braking operation. In addition, the mechanism cooperates with a correspondingly designed control circuit and the acceleration actuator, such that the conversion between the acceleration and braking operations is smooth and reasonable, and adapts to the actual control and various conditions throughout the driving process.
