Abstract:
Disclosed is a safety belt equipped with a first backrest member that is fitted on to the back of a driver, a first torso belt that is fitted around the torso of the driver, a pair of first shoulder belts that are fitted around the shoulders of the driver, a second torso belt that is fitted around the torso of a passenger, a pair of second shoulder belts that are fitted around the shoulders of the passenger, a plurality of torso belt fittings by which the second torso belt is fitted to the first backrest member in a detachable manner, and a plurality of shoulder belt fittings by which parts of the aforementioned second shoulder belts positioned on the front of the passenger are fitted to the first backrest member in a detachable manner. Additionally, the positions for fitting the second torso belt and the second shoulder belts to the first backrest member can be selected arbitrarily from among the plurality of torso belt fittings and the plurality of shoulder belt fittings.
