Abstract:
Provided is a safety clamping jaw of an industrial robot. The safety clamping jaw comprises a clamping jaw, a clamping block, a first elastic member, and a first shaft; the first shaft passes through the clamping jaw and the clamping block, and the clamping jaw can perform displacement relative to the clamping block along the axial direction of the first shaft; the first elastic member has one end abutting against the clamping jaw and the other end abutting against the clamping block; and when the clamping jaw moves relative to the clamping block along the axial direction of the first shaft, the first elastic member elastically extends and retracts. The safety clamping jaw in the embodiments has a cushioning function in a vertical movement direction, and a vertical gap is present between the clamping jaw and the clamping block. When a certain error is present between an actual clamping height of the safety clamping jaw and a preset clamping height, the clamping block may be subjected to a vertical upward acting force, the clamping jaw can perform relative displacement to relieve the acting force received, and a cushioning length allowing the clamping jaw to perform relative displacement is the width of the vertical gap between the clamping jaw and the clamping block. Therefore, when the value of a clamping error is within a width range of the vertical gap, no damage is caused to the industrial robot and a clamped object.
