Abstract:
The present device relates to a safety cover for a grating, more specifically to a safety grating cover which is mounted on an elongated manhole (11) and a grating (20), and prevents accidents. In the manhole (11), a sewer (12) is formed on the road surface (10). The grating (20) is placed on a mount (13) formed in the upper portion inside the manhole (11) and a plurality of drainage spaces (21) are formed in the grating (20) by lengthwise and widthwise partitions which are integrated and fastened. The safety cover for the grating comprises a perforated plate (30) which is installed on top of the grating (20) and in which a plurality of drain holes (31) are formed, and a safety cover (100) with EPDM color chips which has a pattern thereon. The safety cover (100) includes: a ductile PVC mat (50) which is adhered on top of the perforated plate (30) and in which rainwater holes (51) are formed in the center thereof, and EPDM color chips (40) which are molded by mixing and compressing EPDM chips and urethane resin and have a pattern on top thereof. Grooves are molded in both lateral ends of the ductile PVC mat (50) into one body and are formed at a constant distance in order to let water flow in the outer lower portion of the PVC mat (50).
