Abstract:
The present invention provides a safety device that can control a landing point when a flight vehicle falls. The safety device is provided in a flight vehicle and comprises: a first parachute that slows the rate of fall and controls the attitude of the flight vehicle while falling; a second parachute which is deployed later than the first parachute and which lessens the impact when the flight vehicle lands; a sensor unit that detects the falling of the flight vehicle; and a control unit that controls the deployment of the first and second parachutes. The control unit deploys the first parachute at a first timing after the sensor unit detects falling and deploys the second parachute at a second timing that comes after the first timing and additionally satisfies a prescribed condition.
