Abstract:
The present invention relates to a safety device for a juicer, comprising: a vertically-formed inlet portion of which both ends are penetrated; a screw, which is coupled to a first shaft of a driving motor provided below the inlet portion, is arranged under the inlet portion at a right angle with respect to the direction in which the inlet portion is formed, and which rotates while being linked with the first shaft; a main body inside of which the driving motor is installed and to which the inlet portion is detachably coupled; a detection portion comprising a sensor formed on the inner circumferential surface of the inlet portion; and a controller, which is embedded in the main body and is electrically connected to the detection portion via the inlet portion, for stopping the rotation of the driving motor upon detecting bodily contact of a user with the detection portion, thereby preventing in advance accidents involving wounding of a part of the body of a user due to carelessness.
