The present invention relates to a safety device for providing ease of installation while preventing injuries caused by hand jamming, when the door is opened, in a crevice formed between a door frame and a door opened/closed in a hinged manner by means of hinges, the device: having folding plates that block the crevice in the door while being folded, so as to be formed to have different widths so that the folding plate having the broad width and being positioned at the door side pushes the folding plate having the narrow width and being positioned at the door frame, and thus the door is brought into very close contact with the inner surface of the door frame when the door is closed, thereby preventing birdcaging or a gap even if external force is applied thereto; allowing each folding plate to be simply constructed at the door frame and the door while maintaining the fixed installation position of each folding plate all the time; allowing the hinges and a screening device for blocking another door crevice on the opposite side in a simplified structure to be simply and easily assembled so as to enable an unskilled person and any person to easily install and construct the safety device like an expert; and preventing the accuracy of an operation and the beauty thereof after being installed from being damaged.
