Abstract:
The invention relates to a safety device for working at heights on a ladder (1). Said safety device can be adapted to the side piece (3) of a ladder (2) and comprises a grip and actuation device (20, R, 70) acting on a locking device (60), and safety equipment (50, 40) joined to the user, characterized in that the safety equipment (50, 40) contains a lifeline (50) which joins the user to the safety device (1) and which slides onto the side piece (3) of the ladder.
