Abstract:
A safety enhancement system of a marine riser according to the present invention comprises: a riser having an upper end fixedly coupled to the lower part of a marine structure and extending downward and a lower end from which a weight body hangs; at least one wire rope connecting the marine structure and the weight body; and a wire rope guide fixedly coupled to the outer surface of the riser along the lengthwise direction of the riser to support the at least one wire rope. According to the present invention, it is possible to enhance the safety of the marine riser by minimizing the stress (especially, axial stress) applied to the marine riser connected to the lower part of the marine structure to deliver seawater, petroleum, gas, or the like.
