Abstract:
The present invention relates to a safety helmet, and more particularly, to a safety helmet having lighting means, wherein a lighting unit is automatically exposed to illuminate the front when the lighting means is in use, and the lighting unit is accommodated within a visor unit when the lighting means is not in use, to thereby achieve an aesthetic enhancement and use convenience. The safety helmet of the present invention comprises: a hemispherical outer cover (10) which has an open bottom and a front end provided with a visor unit (12); an inner cover (14) attached to an inner surface of the outer cover (10); a light-accommodating case (30) having a space (32) formed within the visor unit (12); and a rotating lighting unit (20) rotatably arranged in the light-accommodating case (30), such that the rotating lighting unit (20) is accommodated within the light-accommodating case (30) or outwardly exposed. The rotating light unit (20) comprises: a power source unit (26) for supplying power; a plurality of high-luminance LED lamps (22) which receive operating power from the power source unit (26) in order to emit light; and a reflection shade (21) which reflects light emitted by the high-luminance LED lamps (22) such that the light can be irradiated to the front.
