Abstract:
The present invention relates to a safety helmet ready for earthquakes and to a method of using same, the invention comprising: a vibration sensor for sensing vibration; a controller for detecting output of the vibration sensor and determining whether or not an earthquake has occured; and an audio output unit for outputting audio or sound stored in a memory when the controller determines that an earthquake has occurred and informing the nearby surroundingsof the location of the safety helmet. The present invention has the advantage of allowing the wearing rate of the safety helmet to be increased upon disaster occurrence, by outputting a recorded audio or a specific sound signal from the safety helmet when the occurrence of an earthquake has been sensed and hence allowing a nearby person to easily wear the safety helmet that is prepared.
