A safety lock mechanism subject to the invention which prevents the movement of the back/forth arm (2) in tractors without pushing the clutch pedal (5) , comprising;

• Back/forth arm connection (3) for transferring the back/forth arm (2) movement to the safety lock (interlock) connection (6) ,

• Back/forth arm housing connection (4) for fixing the back/forth arm connection (3) to the speed drive line box (1 ) ,

• A clutch pedal (5) , which has a structure that provides the upwards and downwards movement of the safety lock (7) ,

• Safety lock (interlock) connection (6) for transferring the back/forth arm (2) movement to the safety lock (interlock) housing connection (8) ,

• A safety lock (7) which locks the safety lock (interlock) connection (6) into the housing above the connection (6) or releases it, and

• A safety lock (interlock) housing connection (8) for transferring the safety lock (interlock) connection's back/forth movement to the speed drive line box ( 1 ) .

Safety lock mechanism according to claim 1 , characterized in that when the driver steps on the clutch pedal (5) , the safety lock (7) moves downwards and the safety lock connection (6) is released.

Safety lock mechanism according to claim ^characterized in that the movement of the safety lock connection (6) is transmitted to the speed drive line box ( 1 ) via the safety lock housing connection (8) .

Safety lock mechanism according to claim 1 , characterized in that when the movement of the back/forth arm (2) manipulates the safety lock connection (6) the connection does not correspond to the safety lock (7) and it always remains in the free position. Safety lock mechanism according to claim 1 , characterized in that when the back/forth (2) arm is brought to the free the safety lock (7) moves into its housing located on the safety lock connection (6) and locks the connection (6) .

Description:
DESCRI PTION

A SAFETY LOCK MECHANISM

Technical Field of the I nvention

The invention subject to the application is related to a safety lock mechanism (interlock) that can be operated by pedal movement without using an additional actuating arm in the tractor.

State of the Art ( Prior Art)

I n the prior art, the driver has to use a separate actuating arm to actuate a safety lock (interlock) used for locking the clutch pedal in tractors. Because the driver doesn't push the clutch pedal before the safety lock is opened via an actuating arm, he must steer the wheel by just one hand while he is driving. This situation weakens the driver's control on the tractor and may cause important safety issues.

As an example improvement in the prior art related to safety lock (interlock) mechanisms used in tractors, inventions in Patent no. US2945570A, US4298108A and CA1 175320A1 documents can be given.

Brief Description and the Object of the I nvention

The invention subject to the application is related to a safety lock (interlock) mechanism, which prevents it from being moved without pushing the clutch pedal of back/forth arm in tractors and which is integrated to the clutch pedal and connected to more than one mechanical element via more than one connection. I n the development of the safety lock mechanism of the present invention ;

• Acquiring a mechanism which can control the safety lock without using an additional actuating arm by a driver,

• Acquiring a safety lock which is automatically opened by pushing the clutch pedal by a driver, • Eliminating mechanical breakdowns and damages, which may arise depending on driver failure while manually using the safety lock in the known state of the method,

• Acquiring an ergonomic, convenient and cost-effective safety lock mechanism, is intended.

Description of the Figures I llustrating the I nvention

Figures, which are intended to explain the safety lock (interlock) mechanism developed by this invention, are described below.

Figure 1 - shows the perspective view of the safety lock (interlock) mechanism.

Figure 2 - shows the overview of the safety lock mechanism where the back/forth arm is in a free position.

Figure 3 shows the overview of the safety lock mechanism while back/forth arm is in the forward position.

Figure 4 shows the overview of the safety lock mechanism while back/forth arm is in the backward position.

Description of the Elements/ Components/ Parts Forming the I nvention

Parts/components/elements included in Figures, which are intended to explain the safety lock (interlock) mechanism developed by this invention, are designated separately and the reference of each number is given below.

1 . Speed drive line box

2. Back/forth arm

3. Back/forth arm connection

4. Back/forth arm housing connection

5. Clutch pedal

6. Safety lock (interlock) connection

7. Safety lock (interlock)

8. Safety lock (interlock) housing connection Detailed Description of the I nvention

The subject of the invention is related to a safety lock ( interlock) mechanism , which prevents it from being moved without pushing the clutch pedal (5) of the back/forth arm (2) in tractors and which is integrated to the clutch pedal (5) and connected to more than one mechanical element via more than one connection .

I nventive Safety lock ( interlock) mechanism is formed of the following ;

• Back/forth connection (3) for transferring the back/forth (2) movement to the safety lock (interlock) connection (6) ,

· Back/forth arm housing connection (4) for fixing the back/forth arm connection (3) to the speed drive line box ( 1 ) ,

• A clutch pedal (5) , which has a structure that provides the upwards and downwards movement of the safety lock (7) ,

• Safety lock (interlock) connection (6) for transferring the back/forth arm (2) movement to the safety lock (interlock) housing connection (8) ,

• A safety lock (7) which locks the safety lock (interlock) connection (6) into the housing above the connection (6) or releases it , and

• A safety lock ( interlock) housing connection (8) for transferring the safety lock ( interlock) connection's back/forth movement to the speed drive line box ( 1 ) ,

The operation principle of the inventive safety lock mechanism is as follows;

• When the driver pushes the clutch pedal (5) , the safety lock (7) releases the safety lock (interlock) connection (6) by moving downward,

• The driver manipulates the back/forth arm (2) connected to the released safety lock ( interlock) connection (6) in the desired direction,

• The movement of the safety lock ( interlock) connection (6) is transmitted to the speed drive line box ( 1 ) via a safety lock (interlock) housing connection (8) ,

• When the movement of the back/forth arm (2) manipulates the safety lock ( interlock) connection (6) , it always remains in the free position because it will not correspond to the safety lock (7) housing,

• When the back/forth (2) arm is brought to the free position , the safety lock (7) moves into its housing located on the safety lock (interlock) connection (6) and locks the connection (6) .
