Abstract:
The present invention relates to an induction range which is installed under a top plate of a table. An induction range installed under a top plate of a table to heat a cooking vessel on the table by using an induction heating method comprises: a pad which is disposed between the top plate of the table and the cooking vessel and is provided with a magnet which is installed at a central portion thereof; and a magnetic sensor provided inside the induction range for sensing a magnetic force, wherein when the magnetic sensor senses a magnetic force, the state of the power source of the induction range is switched to a standby state, and when the magnetic sensor does not detect a magnetic force, the supply of the power source is shut off.
