Provided is a safety switch apparatus for a food mixer, comprising a base (1), a cup body (3), a mount (2), and a motor (11). The motor (11) is arranged on the base (1); the bottom of the cup body (3) is provided with an opening structure; the mount (2) is detachably arranged at the opening of the bottom of the cup body (3). The base (1) is also provided with a safety switch assembly; the safety switch assembly is connected in series with the motor (11); the outside wall of the lower part of the cup body (3) is provided with a lower-insert contact part (321); the cup body (3) rests on the base (1) by means of the mount (2) of its opening; the lower-insert contact part (321) is adjacent to, or abuts against, the safety switch assembly. The lower-insert contact part of the food mixer is arranged on the outside wall of the lower part of the cup body, and in the invention it is possible to observe and align the contact fit between the lower-insert contact part and the safety switch assembly; the invention is simple to operate and easy to assemble and disassemble, making it convenient for a user to clean.
