Abstract:
This safety system comprises: a memory; a processor that is connected to the memory and that executes a safety program; a first communication section that exchanges data with one or more safety components via a first transmission path; and a second communication section that exchanges data with one or more safety components via a second transmission path. The second communication section and the first communication section execute, independently of one another, processing related to data exchange. In the memory, a first data region that stores data to be exchanged by the first communication section and a second data region that stores data to be exchanged by the second communication section are arranged independently of one another.
