Abstract:
This invention pertains to an apparatus and method for a locator module device and service that enhance personal and medical safety via wireless technology, global positioning system satellites orbiting the earth and a GPS Reverse Geocoder. A GPS Reverse Geocoder converts the GPS longitude and latitude coordinates to an address. The SAFETYLERT locator module device houses the service which is wireless technology with a built in GPS antenna and a GPS Reverse Geocoder. The SAFETYLERT service can be programmed on new or existing wireless cellular phones that have GPS capability. As with the SAFETYLERT locator module device, the service within the GPS cell phone utilizes wireless and GPS technology with the GPS Reverse Geocoder.
