Abstract:
A saggar for sintering a lithium transition metal oxide, and a preparation method therefor. The saggar comprises a base layer, and a shallow layer and a coating layer on the surface of the base layer. The base layer comprises the following raw materials: silicon carbide, magnesium aluminum spinel, aluminum oxide-magnesium oxide-yttrium oxide composite fibers, zircon powder, and a binder; the shallow layer comprises the following raw materials: silicon carbide, magnesium aluminum spinel, aluminum oxide-titanium oxide composite fibers, yttrium oxide-zirconium oxide composite fibers, and a binder; the coating layer comprises the following raw materials: silicon carbide, magnesium aluminum spinel, magnesium oxide, fiber zirconium oxide, lithium transition metal oxide powder, and a binder. The saggar according to embodiments of the present disclosure has good corrosion resistance and a small coefficient of thermal expansion, and corrosion phenomena such as cracking, peeling, and slag dropping are not likely to occur when a positive electrode material is in contact with the saggar, such that the service life of the saggar is prolonged.
