Abstract:
The disclosure relates to a sailing boat (1) comprising an underwater ship (2) provided with a keel (4) and at least one rudder (5', 55''), wherein the keel, viewed in the boat's direction of sailing, is located at the front, and behind the keel, just passed midship, the boat is at both sides provided with a bilge rudder. Preferably each bilge rudder is articulated, having a first fixed portion and a second portion, pivotingly coupled with the first portion. The first portion is then, for example, embodied as skeg, and the second portion forms a rudder blade.

Claims:
CLAIMS
1. A sailing boat (1) comprising a boat's underwater ship (2) provided with a keel and at least one rudder, characterized in that viewed in the boat's direction of sailing, the keel (4) is located at the front, and in that behind the keel, just passed midship, the boat (1) is at both sides provided with a bilge rudder (5,5'').
2. A sailing boat (1) according to claim 1, characterized in that each bilge rudder (5', 5'') is articulated, having a first fixed portion and a second portion, pivotingly coupled with the first portion.
3. A sailing boat (1) according to claim 2, characterized in that the first portion is embodied as skeg, and the second portion forms a rudder blade.
4. A sailing boat (1) according to one of the claims 13, characterized in that each bilge rudder (5', 511) is mounted on or near the bilge of the boat and is directed inward at a slight angle (Fig. 2), such that the lower ends are closer together than the top ends.
5. A sailing boat (1) according to one of the claims 14, characterized in that the two bilge rudders (5', 5'') are designed to toein.
6. A sailing boat (1) according to one of the claims 15, characterized in that the two bilge rudders (5', 5'l) rudders are positioned out of square in relation to the longitudinal axis of the boat.
7. A sailing boat (1) according to one of the claims 16, characterized in that each bilge rudder (5', 5'') has a predetermined asymmetrical profile.
8. A sailing boat (1) according to one of the claims 57, characterized in that the toein varies over the height of the bilge rudders (5', 5'').
