Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to prevent execution of processing not suited to a situation. This sales data processing device is provided with: a registration means for executing a registration process to register a product; a settlement means for executing a settlement process using registered data generated by the registration means; a transmitting means for executing a transmission process to transmit the registered data in such a way that settlement can be performed using another sales data processing device; and a prohibiting means for prohibiting the execution of the settlement process. If the transmission process is to be executed, the prohibiting means prohibits the execution of the settlement process before the transmission process has been executed.
