Abstract:
A sales management system is provided with a sales data processing device and a fraud monitoring device. The sales data processing device retains, in advance, information regarding the processes to be monitored in which fraudulent use is conceivable from the sales data processed. Subsequently, the sales data processing device processes sales data in compliance with the instructions from an operator, and if said processing matches the processes to be monitored, the sales data processing device notifies the fraud monitoring device that processes to be monitored have occurred. The fraud monitoring device outputs a warning upon receiving the notification, from the sales monitoring device, that processes to be monitored have occurred.
