Abstract:
A sales operations assistance system (1) comprises a store employee terminal (10) operated by a store employee, and a medium (12). The medium (12) has a storage region for storing first information that indicates the type of product. The store employee terminal (10) has a communication unit (102) and a notification unit (104). The communication unit (102) communicates with the medium (12), thereby reading the first information stored in the storage region of the medium (12). The notification unit (104) acquires second information (additional information on the product corresponding to the first information) using the first information read by the communication unit (102), and outputs the second information to a first output device (1042) for use by the store employee.
