Abstract:

A sales relay apparatus having a commodity database for storing commodity information of a commodity to be sold to a customer and interlocking with a plurality of sales site management apparatuses for performing sales of a commodity whose commodity information is stored in the commodity database upon reception of an access from a customer terminal. The sales relay apparatus includes a represented commodity information creation unit and a represented commodity information management unit. The represented commodity information creation unit receives sales site identification information for identifying a sales site management apparatus which has been accessed by a customer, selects one or more sales site management apparatuses from other sales site management apparatuses according to the received sales site identification information, receives commodity information from the commodity database managed by the selected sales site management apparatus, and creates represented commodity information including commodity information. The represented commodity information management unit transmits represented commodity information to a sales site management apparatus, so that the sales site management apparatus causes a customer terminal to display represented commodity information.
