Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a novel method for enhancing saltiness. The present invention provides a salty taste enhancer that is to be used for a food product containing table salt and that contains: adenylic acid or a salt thereof acceptable in a food product; an organic acid selected from the group consisting of succinic acid, citric acid, acetic acid, tartaric acid, and malic acid, or a salt, of the organic acid, acceptable in a food product.
