Abstract:
The present invention relates to a sample concentrator comprising a nitrogen generation module and, more specifically, to a sample concentrator comprising a nitrogen generation module, which can be used by connecting a typical air compressor thereto because the nitrogen generation module is united with the sample concentrator, thereby eliminating the need for a separate nitrogen generator, increasing convenience and saving space. Further, the present invention allows a flow rate and pressure to be supplied to each of a plurality of injection nozzles independently so that a user can selectively use a necessary injection nozzle only, can rapidly evaporate a solvent by blowing nitrogen into the sample through the injection nozzles, and can prevent oxidation of the sample by supplying nitrogen. The present invention, i.e. a sample concentrator comprising a nitrogen generation module, comprises: a housing having a square shape, comprising a glass window which is provided on a front door to allow the internal state of the sample concentrator to be observed, and a fan which is provided on the upper part of the housing to discharge an evaporated solvent; a test tube-fixing unit which is provided within the housing to fix a plurality of test tubes containing samples to be concentrated; a shelf which is provided in the lower part of the test tube-fixing unit and is formed so as to be slidable forwards and backwards; a plurality of injection nozzles which are provided in the upper part of the test tube-fixing unit to inject nitrogen into the test tubes; an injection nozzle-fixing unit which is formed to be coupled to the upper part of the injection nozzle to fix the injection nozzle; a lifting-and-lowering unit which is formed to be coupled to the back side of the injection nozzle-fixing unit and is provided behind the shelf so as to move the injection nozzle-fixing unit upwards and downwards; a control unit which is provided in the lower parts of the shelf and the lifting-and-lowering unit to support the shelf and the lifting-and-lowering unit, the control unit having an operation display window for controlling operation of the sample concentrator; a nitrogen generation module capable of supplying nitrogen for preventing oxidation of the sample, which is provided in the lower part of the control unit and comprises a nitrogen membrane for separating nitrogen when compressed air is supplied to the inside of the sample concentrator, with a solenoid valve for controlling the pressure of supplied air and simultaneously preventing occurrence of adverse pressure upon re-operation being provided at one side thereof; and a plurality of supply tubes which are provided between the nitrogen generation module and the injection nozzles to supply nitrogen generated from the nitrogen generation module to each of the injection nozzles independently.
