Abstract:
In a container information acquisition mode, this control device 30 controls a liquid supply unit 10 such that a liquid injection operation and detection operation are repeated multiple times and generates a correspondence relationship between the liquid volume of the sample container 50 and the liquid surface height on the basis of the liquid volumes in the sample container 50 after each liquid injection operation and the liquid surface heights detected through the detection operations. Further, in a sample injection mode, the control device 30 controls the liquid supply unit 10 such that the liquid surface height of the sample in the sample container 50 is detected through the detection operation, detects the liquid volume of the sample in the sample container 50 on the basis of the detected liquid surface height and the correspondence relationship, and controls the liquid supply unit 10 such that a suction operation and sample injection operation are carried out on the basis of the detected liquid volume.
