Abstract:
The present invention makes it easy to analyze a powder that is a sample. An analysis device is provided with a sample introduction device (10), and an analysis apparatus into which a powder (P) is introduced from the sample introduction device (10). The sample introduction device (10) is provided with a sample supply unit (14) and a flow path (16). The sample supply unit (14) is provided with a sample chamber (18) where the powder (P) is stored, a sample conveyance chamber (22) where the powder (P) is received from the sample chamber (18) and this powder (P) is introduced to the flow path (16), and a rotating body (20) that is exposed to the sample chamber (18) and to the flow path (16). Rotation of the rotating body (20) causes the sample conveyance chamber (22) to intermittently repeat a state of being in communication with the sample chamber (18) and a state of being in communication with the flow path (16). The sample supply unit (14) intermittently supplies a certain quantity of powder (P) to the flow path (16). The powder (P) supplied from the sample supply unit (14) and a carrier gas that has been introduced from an inlet (16a) are discharged from an outlet (16b) toward the analysis apparatus.
