Abstract:

A high-order host system recognizes and stores a system in which a parent sample that was first among a plurality of parent samples to come has been put. If a parent sample (a sample with the same bar code for sample identification) has been put in a system different from the system in which the parent sample was first put when an analysis request is issued from the high-order host system to a sample pretreatment system, the high-order host system determines that "the system in which the parent sample has been put is wrong" and issues "no request" (a request to do nothing) in order not to perform a dispensing operation, and the sample pretreatment system stores the parent sample in a tray in a predetermined position without creating child samples when the high-order host system has issued "no request". Consequently, the problem of recreating a child sample for an item for which the child sample was already created can be solved, and a multisystem configuration can be smoothly operated.
