Abstract:
Provided is a sand heat storage type wind power generation device that has a sand base material and a wind tunnel provided in a sand container, that comprises a windmill and a wind power generator, and that carries out wind power generation by means of upward air flow in the wind tunnel. A sand heat storage type wind power generation device according to the present invention is characterized by having a sand base material disposed around a wind tunnel in a sand container, and by comprising a windmill and a wind power generator, and is characterized in that: heat can be stored in the sand base material through solar light irradiation heating or the like; and an increase in the temperature of air in the wind tunnel causes flowing of upward air flow in an air amount relating to the inside-outside temperature difference of the air in the wind tunnel, the position height difference of an opening of the wind tunnel, and the effective area of the opening of the wind tunnel, acts on driving of the windmill, and enables power to be generated at the wind power generator driven by the windmill.
